"Situated on Oahu’s picturesque North Shore, Gunstock Ranch offers an authentic Hawaiian experience far away from the big crowds and up close with nature. We keep our tours small and intimate so you can have an unforgettable experience with your family and friends.
At Gunstock, you can choose from Hawaii eco-tours, horseback rides, tree plantings, and exciting off-road adventures. Come be a part of our Ohana and check out our trails today!" (Via Gunstock Ranch website)
My family went out to Gunstock Ranch this past August, we had purchased a keiki ride online for our 2 kids and we were offered a 10% kamaina discount or military discount.
It was a nice drive along the North Shore to arrive, easy to find following our GPS and we pulled into a large grassy parking lot near the horse stables. Our kids were thrilled when they hopped out and saw all the horses. There are bathrooms on site. We were greeted by the ranch hands and invited to pick out a helmet for the kids. Then we were introduced to our guide. She introduced our 2 horses to our kids and gave the kids an opportunity to pet and brush the horses.  The guide went through some safety basics and names of different gear, then helped each kiddo onto their horse.
We moved along at a great easy pace on the ranch trails and enjoyed the fresh air, the sea views and breezes.
When our ride was complete we walked around a little bit and checked out the goats.
Our daughter loved them!

I don't own any cowgirl boots at the moment so galoshes had to do! 😁
Birthday parties are also offered at the ranch, I saw a playground and sitting area where parties are held.  A party at the ranch would definitely be fun and unique!

We would give this place 5 stars, we had a great, friendly, fun, relaxing experience. Looking forward to a return visit. I did notice that Groupons are sometimes offered for their different ranch experiences.
