Basalt
Has anyone been to Basalt on Duke's Lane in Waikiki before?
If you haven't been, it's a great spot for breakfast or lunch with a full bar, inside Duke's Marketplace next to Nordstrom Rack. Basalt means lava rock and you'll notice the restaurant and inside of Duke's Marketplace has a darker, more warm color scheme. I went recently for a second time and really enjoyed their goat cheese omelet with sauteed veggies -- absolutely delicious. My hubby ordered the prime rib loco moco. He loved it.
On a different occasion I went with friends and I wanted to try it all, so ordered a short stack of their featured charcoal pancakes with whipped cream, a side of their vanilla orange brioche french toast, and a poached egg! All excellent. Friends tired the guava mimosa along with avocado toast (that looked like fairy toast to me, so beautiful!).
Everything was lovely and delicious the servers and host were friendly. Parking is validated at the Hyatt Centric parking lot off Seaside.
Highly Recommend! 🤙💗🤙
